Australia Business Innovation And Investment Permanent subclass 888 visa

Overview

Australia Business Innovation & Investment (Permanent) (subclass 888) visa is one of the Australian Business Innovation and Investment Program, which is designed to benefit the country's economy.

Visa is issued only on invitation. The visa applicant has to submit his Expression of Interest through SkillSelect initially and on receipt of Invitation can apply for visa.

Visa Features

• The applicants for the Business Innovation stream can continue to own and manage a business in Australia
• The applicants for the the Investor stream and the Significant Investor stream can continue business and investment activity in Australia

Visa Requirements

You must have a provisional Business Innovation and Investment visa (subclass 188)

You need to meet the requirements of that visa in the stream in which you first applied

Nomination by a state or territory

Information Required for Expression of Interest

• Applicant’s Expression of Interest should specify the stream he/she is interested in.
• The EOI should also indicate whether he/she is interested in just one or all states and territories. 

Visa Fee

Base Application Charge: $2305

Additional Applicant Charge (18 and over): A$1155

Additional Applicant Charge (Under 18): A$575

Note:

The second installment of $4890 is for an applicant who:

• has turned 18 at the time of application; and

• is assessed as not having functional English; and

• satisfies the secondary criteria for the grant of a Subclass 888 (Business Innovation and Investment (Permanent)) visa; and

• has not paid a second installment of the visa application charge in relation to an application for a Subclass 188 (Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional)) visa.
